First Family Vacation

We decided to take our first family vacation to Burr Oak State Park.  Taking a family vacation was a good idea, choosing to go to Burr Oak was not. :)  Nothing against this state park, but it really just didn't suit our needs very well.  We came fully equipped with jogging stroller, Baby Bjorn, picnic lunches, etc. to take advantage of all the trails they had...basically to just spend all weekend outside hiking and relaxing.  Turns out we would have needed to bring a machete to get through the trails...not very baby friendly.  We decided to leave a day early, and laughed all the way home.  We did stop by Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills on the way back for some hiking, and that was great.

We managed to get a picture by the entrance sign as we were leaving the park.  While our first family vacation might not have turned out as we imagined, it makes for a great memory!

Old Man's Cave was much better suited for hiking. You can tell Caroline is enjoying it from this picture.
